Located just outside Kingston in Eight Mile Bull Bay, the 1300 sqm Freedom Skatepark is the largest skatepark in Jamaica and the first and only in the capital region. The skatepark itself is located right next the Bull Bay FC, boasts both street and transition features and is designed to cater to all skill levels. On-site you will find a youth center, communal garden and parking space for visitors.
The Freedom Skatepark was built under the direction of Concrete Jungle Foundation in early 2020 by some 40 international and local volunteers. Today we run the Edu-Skate programme and a Loaner Board programme at the park, as well as employ 7 local adolescents.
If you’d like to volunteer at the Freedom Skatepark Skatepark make sure to check out our ‘Get involved’ page!
